Do you struggle with chronic illness, unknown illness, or chronic pain? Are you having trouble finding a therapist that understands your experiences with a new or ongoing condition? Are you looking for practical ways of managing your condition and life? When we are diagnosed with or experiencing chronic illness our lives are turned upside down and we grieve our past life and our past selves. Having a therapist to guide you through this new part of your life can help make it feel less alone and not as overwhelming. I often utilized Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with my clients while also meeting them where they are in their own journey. I rely on my education but also my own personal experience with my own health issues to help empathize and assist you. I understand that having a chronic illness makes it hard to commit to appointments and because of this I, personally, do not have a cancellation policy as long as you reschedule within the next 3 weeks. This allows me to hold a spot for you but gives you the flexibility of attending when you are feeling well and don’t have conflicts with other physicians. Let me help you manage your mental health symptoms and get back to enjoying life again.
