Understand. Heal. Grow.
We Can Do This Together

Welcome!

Have you ever felt misunderstood by family and friends? Find it difficult to trust others including professionals? Have difficulty being seen as a person and not your condition? Do you feel alone? Do you struggle with trauma-induced anxiety? Let's talk! At Hope in Healing Therapy we can help you build tools to gain strength and confidence in managing your personal challenges. We empower adults with chronic illness/ pain, ADHD, grief, addiction or a history of trauma to take back their control and create healthy support in order to stay on a path towards healing. All of our staff came from substance abuse clinics and have experience with most mental health diagnosis.

We have grief support groups starting soon with a specialized group for parents who have lost a child. In addition, we are offering groups for parents of adult children with addiction who need guidance on how to support their children without enabling or just need a nonjudmental listening ear.

The compassion and guidance we provide will rewire those pathways allowing you to be the best version of yourself. In our sessions together, we will assess you to help you understand yourself, get to you and your strengths, and where you are at in your journey. At Hope in Healing Therapy we help you discover your strength through building self esteem, embracing your spiritually or beliefs, and reconnecting with loved ones. Next we will work on making small manageable changes through mindfulness, changing behaviors and embracing a positive healthy mindset.

It’s often scary to start therapy for the first time or even to go back to therapy but it is the best self care gift you can give to yourself.

We serve adults from Massachusetts and Connecticut through providing (telehealth only):

- individual therapy,

-couples therapy,

-groups for grief,

-groups for parents of adult children who struggle with addiction.

“You can change your brain. This is not wishful thinking, it is science, and we know people can do it even in the most difficult times, when pain is at its most severe.”
- Dr. Neil Pearson, a specialist in pain management.

You might be initially hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you will feel confident that you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a better place and being a better you.
